Gazprom EP International Renovates a First-Aid Station in Nam Dinh, Vietnam
In 2021, Gazprom EP International in partnership with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group Petrovietnam made a charitable donation to the Hop Hung Commune of the Vu Ban District, Nam Dinh Province. The donated amount was used to renovate a first-aid station that provides medical services to more than 7 thousand residents of the commune.
The Vu Ban District of the Nam Dinh Province is located in Northern Vietnam in the immediate proximity of the South China Sea coast and suffers from annual storms, typhoons and floods severely damaging the commune infrastructure. The renovation allowed improving significantly the quality of the medical services and qualified medical aid provided to local residents.
Apart from this, in 2021, some of the donations went to the National Vietnamese COVID-19 Vaccine Fund fighting the novel coronavirus infection.
Gazprom EP International and Petrovietnam regularly provide aid to the provinces in a desperate situation: in 2015 a kindergarten was built in the An Ninh Dong Commune of the Phu Yen Province; in 2020 charitable donations allowed restoring the farmer houses destroyed by the hurricane in the Hung Yen Province.
