Gazprom International Participates in EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2019
Gazprom EP International (GEPI) participated in the 2nd EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2019 International Industrial Exhibition in Tashkent from 24 to 26 April. From 2003 on, the company has been a major investor in Uzbek economy developing the Shakhpakhty and Dzhel gas and condensate fields under the terms of Production Sharing Agreements.
Partners, customers, and journalists visiting GEPI’s stand learned about the entirety of the company’s activities in Uzbekistan. During the business-related program, GEPI experts attended the plenary session entitled “Uzbekistan’s Innovative Development” and a round table on cooperation in energy and oil and gas.
“An exhibition is the perfect opportunity to tell as many people as possible what our business is. We are delighted that our stand has aroused great interest,” acting director of GEPI’s Representative Office in Uzbekistan Elena Smirnova said. “Three-day intensive interaction resulted in getting to know new companies and discussing future cooperation possibilities. In addition, we told visitors about projects in Uzbekistan, gas produced daily from the fields we develop, and our plans for the future.”
