A recent round of meetings of the Technical subcommittees (the technical and financial sections) of the Oil and Gas Contract Management Committees for Blocks 112 and 129-132 on the continental shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was held in the city of Hanoi (Vietnam) on 11 – 12 October.
Representatives of PJSC Gazprom, Petrovietnam, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, and the company’s subsidiary PVEP (Petrovietnam Exploration & Production Corporation), JSC Gazprom Zarubezhneftegaz, and the joint operating company (JOC) Vietgazprom took part in the meetings.
Participants of the Technical subcommittees discussed the results of the electrical exploration surveys (electromagnetic sounding) amounting to 1000 linear kilometres carried out by JOC Vietgazprom last July and August in the A1 prospective area within Block 112.
It was pointed out that the offshore surveys had been carried out to a good quality, with no delays and in compliance with technical requirements. The processing and interpretation of the acquired data is now underway.
The Technical subcommittee meetings also discussed the information on implementation of the JOC Vietgazprom Updated Programme and Budget for 2016, as well as the company’s Work Programme and Budget for 2017.
