December 12 — The Supervisory Board of Gazprom EP International met at the company’s headquarters in Amsterdam. The meeting saw the participation of Deputy Chairmen of PJSC Gazprom’s Management Committee Andrey Kruglov, Vitaly Markelov, and Alexander Medvedev; Member of PJSC Gazprom’s Management Committee and Head of Department Vsevolod Cherepanov; Managing Director and CEO of Gazprom EP International Andrey Fick, other members of GEPI’s Management Committee, and PJSC Gazprom’s and GEPI’s managers.
The meeting reviewed the 2018 end-of-year financial reports and performance figures, approved GEPI Group’s consolidated budget for 2019, and instructed the Management Committee to create a long-term corporate strategy for the period until 2028. The strategy will define the future benchmarks and shape the company’s activities to meet the existing challenges.
Tecom’s and Fincom’s first progress reports were on the agenda, too. The two committees provide monitoring services and upfront due diligence for, as well as technical and financial advice on the projects.
The meeting also focused on social security at Gazprom EP International; the company will continue aligning its internal policies with PJSC Gazprom’s corporate standards in 2019.
Gazprom International globally operates Gazprom’s upstream projects abroad. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, having its branch offices in St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia.
Gazprom International’s key objectives are managing upstream projects outside Russia; conducting exploration; evaluating and acquiring new oil and gas assets in the world’s main regions producing oil and gas; and representing Gazprom Group in relations with public and private oil and gas companies abroad.
