Bishkek. 4 June. INTERFAX – Zarubezhneftegaz (a subsidiary company of JSC Gazprom is planning to complete preparations for geological exploration work in Kirghizia by the end of the current year, reported the press-service for the country's president.
As is more accurately defined in the report, the CEO for Zarubezhneftegaz, Valery Gulev, communicated this at a meeting with the president of Kurmanbek Bakiyev on Thursday.
According to Mr. Gulev, delivery of the necessary hardware has already begun. It is planned to embark immediately on geological exploration by spring 2009. Concrete results of the work are expected to appear over the next three years.
Zarubezhneftegaz owns licenses for the right to explore the Kurgant and Mailisu 4 deposits in the south of Kirghizia.
