A meeting of the Supervisory Board of Gazprom International, the sole operator of Gazprom projects involving prospecting, exploration and development of hydrocarbon fields outside of the Russian Federation, was held on 22 May 2013.
The meeting chaired by Andrey Kruglov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of OJSC Gazprom, was attended by Vsevolod Cherepanov, Member of the Supervisory Board and Head of the Department of Gas, Gas Condensate and Oil Production, Valeriy Gulev, Managing Director and Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom International, and a number of other representatives of the company's management.
During the meeting, the participants approved the company's financial results and financial statements for 2012, as well as Gazprom International Group's consolidated financial statements. They also examined recommendations on the allocation of profits based on the results of the financial year.
Members of the Supervisory Board also considered the convening of a regular meeting of Gazprom International shareholders, discussed the company's results, and took a number of decisions regarding the development of current and future projects.
Gazprom International currently operates in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, Libya, Algeria, Nigeria, Venezuela, Bolivia, Bangladesh and India. Talks are under way regarding possible participation in projects in Uruguay, Brazil, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Dominican Republic, Mozambique and many other countries.
