An international exhibition devoted to 35 years of the Vietnamese oil-and-gas industry opened in Hanoi on Monday 30 August. The Vietnamese Institute of Oil and Gas organised the event. The opening ceremony took place with the participation of Dinh La Thang, Chairman of the Board of directors of VNG (Vietnamese Oil & Gas Group), Phung Dinh Thus, Chief Executive of VNG, and leaders from Vietnamese ministries and agencies.
A delegation of representatives from the joint operating company Vietgazprom, which also had a stand at the event, took part in the exhibition’s opening ceremony.
Vietgazprom’s stand was visited on the opening day by Dinh La Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG, Vu Huy Hoang, Minister for Industry and Trade, and Ta Van Huong, head of the Energy department in the Ministry for Industry and Trade.
PetroVietnam’s subisidary companies are taking part in the exhibition, along with company partners and operators that are carrying out oil-and-gas work onshore and offshore in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam - Chevron, Schlumberger, ConocoPhillips, Talisman, and others.
The exhibition will end on 10 September.
