View AllGazprom EP International attended the Annual IBC Meeting
On May 30-31 in Bonn (Germany), the International Business Congress (IBC) Presidium Meeting and the 22nd General Assembly of the Congress took place under chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom PJSC, Oleg Aksyutin.
The Congress participants were introduced to the results of the IBC activities, endorsed the activities of the Presidium and the Management Board over 2018 and unanimously endorsed nomination of Alexander Medvedev as the IBC President.
The Gazprom EP International delegation headed by the Managing Director and CEO, Andrey Fick, took part in the Annual IBC General Assembly and held several business meetings with colleagues and partners of the company from different countries.
The representatives of Gazprom EP International actively participated in meetings of the specialized committees of the IBC. In particular, the session on digitalization in the framework of the HR Management Committee meeting was moderated by the Deputy Managing Director of Gazprom EP International for Legal an HR Affairs, Alexander Nikiforov.
Grigoriy Krotkov, Head of the Business Development and Marketing Group of Gazprom International Training, the training and certifying center of Gazprom EP International, delivered a presentation on digitalization of the HSE processes during the session.
He highlighted that continuous innovations stimulate creation of new industries and business models and destroy the previous ones, meanwhile new technologies, data analytics and social networks have an enormous impact on the way the people communicate, cooperate and work. In this regard, the digitalization of the HR and HSE processes will seek the creation of platforms for training and widespread introduction of virtual remote trainings. The interactive scenarios are efficient and easy to use.
The VR creates platforms for training, helps in arrangement of remote trainings and practicing of different cases for skills reinforcement. This means the possibility of demonstration of the company office culture to new employees, use of VR sets during job fairs for presentation of the company, and increase of safety level of the employees using the digital transformation strategy of the entity.
Alexander Nikiforov noted that under conditions of the modern realities and time deficit, the personnel development and training is impossible without use of digital technologies: “We always strive to be one step ahead when we are talking about introduction of innovations for the purpose of the HR processes efficiency improvement. And VR helps us to implement this strategy in full”.
During the IBC committees meetings, a contest for young scientists was announced that will be organized with support of Gazprom EP International. Media support for the contest will be provided by Gas Industry magazine with aim to promote it in mass media, Internet and social networks. The awarding ceremony will be held in October this year in the framework of the 9th Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum.
